When EMS is called, where you receive emergency care is your choice. For more than 50 years, Lake Huron Medical Center has been providing emergency care to patients throughout the area. Located at the northwest corner of the hospital, our 15-bed unit offers private rooms and dedicated parking.

To be prepared for disasters that may occur locally, Lake Huron Medical Center constructed a dedicated HAZMT facility within its Emergency Department. What’s more, Lake Huron Medical Center Emergency Department staff routinely participate in disaster planning and preparedness meetings, activities and events both locally and throughout the Southeast Michigan region. The Lake Huron Medical Center Emergency Room Department personnel are not only dedicated to individual patients, but the entire community.
