Built by the community, the Peoples’ Clinic for Better Health has provided life-saving care to thousands uninsured St. Clair County residents over the past 25 years. We understand the presence of the Peoples’ Clinic remains very important for our community. With the complex needs of those served in conjunction with a rapidly changing health care environment, we are continuously evaluating how to provide integrated physical and behavioral health care to those served. One change we’ve recently made to better meet the community’s need is relocating the Peoples’ Clinic to the St. Clair County Community Mental Health building. As a member of the Prime Healthcare family, we are committed to keeping a strong foundation and ensuring the work we started is not only maintained but also improved. Our new foundation, the Lake Huron Foundation will bring together and support the Peoples’ Clinic for Better Health, the Mercy Auxiliary Volunteer Organization and fund development activities. With Prime Healthcare’s commitment to the Peoples’ Clinic we look forward to continuing to meet the health care needs of our community for many years to come.
