Jose Kottoor has been named Chief Executive Officer of Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMC). Kottoor brings with him more than 20 years of administrative healthcare experience during which time he has served in several leadership capacities.

Prior to joining LHMC, Jose served as Vice President of Operations/Chief Operations Officer for Beaumont Hospital in Wayne, Michigan. In that role, Jose was responsible for the oversight of a 185-bed full service acute care hospital with specialties including bariatric surgery, heart and vascular services, cancer infusion, women’s health and family-focused birthing center.

Throughout the past year, Lake Huron Medical Center received Trauma Center Level III designation by Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Leapfrog A Rating (Straight A’s since Fall 2018), Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award, a four-star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and 2020 Women’s Choice Awards for America’s Best Hospitals for Patient Safety and Emergency Care to name a few highlights.

Kottoor earned a master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
