Port Huron, MI – Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMC) is pleased to announce its April 2023 Employee of the Month, Darrell Pionk. LHMC is honored to have a strong team of staff and volunteers working hard to deliver high-quality care to the Blue Water Area.
Darrell works as a Plant Engineer in the Maintenance Department and has been an employee at LHMC for two years. He was nominated by a fellow employee who commented, “Darrell found a folder outside containing important patient information and brought it into security. Security was able to contact the patient to let her know her folder was found. The patient was so happy! She cried happy tears and said she was so thankful to Darrell for finding it! Darrell is always willing to help and goes above and beyond. Great catch Darrell!”.
